AirCon Heat ("AirCon Heat," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Supplemental Privacy Policy applies to information we collect about consumers residing in California, Colorado, Virginia, Utah, or Connecticut. It supplements our Privacy Policy and describes our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, as well as instructions for submitting data subject requests.
This Supplemental Privacy Policy is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020; the Colorado Privacy Act of 2021 (CPA); the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act of 2021 (VCDPA); the Utah Consumer Privacy Act of 2022 (UCPA); the Connecticut Data Privacy Act of 2022 (CDPA); and any regulations arising therefrom.
Some portions of this Supplemental Privacy Policy apply only to consumers from specific states. Where applicable, we indicate which portions apply only to certain states.

Definitions Specific to this Policy
The following terms, used throughout this Supplemental Privacy Policy, have the meanings set forth below. All other terms have the meanings set forth in our Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by applicable state law.
- Consumer: A natural person who resides in California, Colorado, Virginia, Utah, or Connecticut and to whom we direct or make available goods, services, or information about our goods or services, either directly or indirectly, including through our franchisees or affiliates. For California consumers only, "Consumer" also includes a natural person whose personal information is collected in the course of B2B transactions.
- Personal Information: Information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household. Personal Information includes "personal data" as that term is defined in the CPA, VCDPA, UCPA, and CDPA.
- Sensitive Personal Information: Personal Information that reveals a Consumer's: 1) Social security, driver's license, state identification card, or passport number; 2) Account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to the individual's account; 3) Precise geolocation; 4) Racial or ethnic origin; 5) Religious or philosophical beliefs; 6) Union membership.
- Sell, Sale, or Sold: Means renting, releasing, or transferring an individual's Personal Information to a Third Party for money or other valuable consideration.
- Share, Shared, or Sharing: Means transferring an individual's Personal Information to a Third Party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for money or other valuable consideration.
- Third Party: Has the meanings afforded to it in the CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, UCPA, and CDPA.
- Vendor: Means a service provider, contractor, or processor as those terms are defined in the CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, UCPA, and CDPA.
To the extent of any conflict between any of the above-defined terms, the definition most protective of Personal Information, in the context of a particular Consumer's state of residency, will control. All terms defined in this Supplemental Privacy Policy or our Privacy Policy have the same definitions when used in Privacy Notices or click-through agreements.

Retention of Data
We retain each category of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information described in this Supplemental Privacy Policy only for as long as is reasonably necessary or permitted to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected as stated in this Supplemental Privacy Policy or otherwise authorized by law; for other compatible purposes; or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Our retention periods vary based on criteria that include the type of information, the purpose for collection, and legal requirements.
Your Rights to Your Personal Information
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Virginia, Utah, or Connecticut, you have specific rights regarding your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions. These rights vary based on your state of residency, but generally include the rights set forth below.
We may deny certain requests, or only fulfill some in part, depending on the request's complexity, the sensitivity of the information at issue, our overriding safety or legal concerns, and our rights and obligations under applicable laws.
- Right to Receive Information on Privacy Practices: You have the right to receive the following information at or before the point of collection: the categories of Personal Information to be collected; the purposes for which the categories of Personal Information will be used; whether that information is sold or shared; the categories of Sensitive Personal Information to be collected; the purposes for which Sensitive Personal Information will be used; the length of time we intend to retain each category of Personal Information.
- Right to Know and Access: You have the right to request any or all of the following regarding the Personal Information we have collected about you in the past 12 months (or longer where required by law): the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you; the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you; the categories of sources from which we collected the Personal Information; the business purpose(s) for collecting, sharing, or selling the Personal Information; and the categories of third parties to whom we have disclosed the Personal Information.
- Right to Delete: You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information we collected from you.
- Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale and Sharing: You have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information by us with Third Parties and the processing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.
- Right to Consent to or Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You have the right to consent to the use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information or to direct us to limit its use and disclosure to that which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected or for specific business purposes permitted by law. We do not use or disclose your Sensitive Personal Information other than as authorized by law or as you have consented.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of your privacy rights. Denials of requests that we are legally entitled to deny, charging reasonable fees where permitted by law, or providing a different level or quality of goods or services where you have exercised your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information are not discriminatory.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you must either provide the authorized agent with power of attorney in accordance with applicable law or the agent must provide us with proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request and verify your identity directly with us. We may deny a request from an agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
You have the right to appeal our decision about your request. To appeal a decision, please submit your appeal by clicking HERE, calling (573) 123-4567, and stating "Appeal" along with the date and nature of your original request.
Verification Process
When you make a request, we may ask you to provide information sufficient to verify your identity. If you have designated an agent, we may require you to verify your identity directly with us and provide written confirmation that you have authorized the agent to act on your behalf.
Personal Information of Minors
Our online content is not intended for children or minors under the age of sixteen years. Accordingly, we do not knowingly store Personal Information from children or minors under sixteen years of age, except as permitted under applicable law. If you believe that a child under the age of sixteen has submitted Personal Information to us, please contact us at support@airconheat.com so that we may take appropriate action.
Additional California Privacy Rights
In addition to the above-listed rights, California consumers may make a request pursuant to California Civil Code § 1798.83 (Shine the Light) to obtain information about our disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties for their direct marketing purposes. Changes to Our Supplemental Policy
We may amend this Supplemental Privacy Policy at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes, we will post the updated notice on our website and update the notice's effective date.
